About ManAlive
Men were never meant to carry life alone.
ManAlive Expedition is a faith-based nonprofit built by ordinary men who know what it is like to lose touch with their hearts, their faith, and the brothers they need beside them.
We create space for men to step away from the noise, tell the truth about where they are, listen for God, and begin walking forward with other men.
What ManAlive Is
A place for men to stop performing.
A man can carry responsibility at work, provide for his family, attend church, and still feel like nobody really knows what is happening inside him.
ManAlive is not therapy, a conference, or another program asking men to work harder at appearing strong.
It is three days where a man puts the act down, hears other men tell the truth about their own lives, and gets quiet enough to hear God.
Most men have not had three days like that in a long time.
Nobody is forced to share. Nobody is treated like a project.
Why We Show Up
Too many men are known for what they do, but not for who they are.
Men learn early how to keep moving.
Handle the job. Pay the bills. Take care of the family. Keep the hard parts contained.
Over time, many men lose their sense of direction, stop expecting much from their faith, and settle for relationships that never get beneath the surface.
ManAlive exists because a man should have somewhere he can stop pretending, hear the truth, encounter God without religious performance, and meet men willing to keep showing up.
We do not believe one weekend fixes a man's life. We do believe a few honest days can give him a clearer place to begin.
The Expedition
A few days outside the routine.
A ManAlive Expedition runs from Thursday evening through Sunday noon.
Men stay indoors, share meals, hear stories from other ordinary men, move through guided sessions, spend time around fires, and choose from optional outdoor activities.
There is structure, but there is no pressure to perform.
Step Away
Put some distance between yourself and the routines, demands, and noise that make it difficult to hear what is really going on.
Pay Attention
Listen to real stories, ask honest questions, spend time with God, and notice what has been buried beneath responsibility and distraction.
Keep Walking
Leave with practical ways to continue reflecting, men you may choose to remain connected with, and follow-up resources designed to help you keep engaging with what came up.

Four short statements. Each one is a place most men have quietly given up.
Loved Sons
Most men can tell you God loves them. Almost none of them believe it below the neck. A man's real identity is not his title, his income, or his worst day. He is a son, known and loved by his Father, and that has to travel from his head to his gut.
Walking With God
A relationship runs both directions. Most men were taught to talk to God and never told they could expect an answer. Faith is not information, attendance, or trying harder. It is a man learning to hear a voice he recognizes, and learning to trust it on a Tuesday.
Living As Brothers
This is not an accountability group. Accountability asks whether you slipped. Brothers ask how you are and stay on the line for the answer. A man needs men who carry a real heart for him, who show up for the good and the ugly, and who do not disappear when it gets long.
Pursuing Life
Life with God was never meant to be passive. It asks something of a man. Risk, responsibility, courage, joy, grief, service, and the nerve to actually be present for his own life.
The Reach So Far
Ordinary men have carried ManAlive farther than we could have planned.
ManAlive has grown through invitations, volunteers, churches, friendships, families, and men who decided the next man should not have to walk alone.

Leadership and Oversight
Volunteer led. Council governed.
The men who guide and serve during a ManAlive Expedition are volunteers. They have attended ManAlive themselves and return to help prepare the way for the next man.
Organizational leadership, accountability, and oversight are provided by the ManAlive Council.
The Council helps protect ManAlive's mission, financial stewardship, organizational integrity, and long-term direction.
